The reason why Apple products such as IMac, Ipod are so successful is because every Apple advert (and hence product) reinforce the feeling of intimate companion of its users. Remember the advertisement with black man and Yao Ming where the IMac is like a personified companion. It can be moved around and it behaves just like one of us: an intimate companion.

This is the reason why Jobs had a war of words with Dell. Dell is also a company which understand the essence of IT industry and marketing. Even though I have to admit that Dell’s PC are really unreliable (not so durable), but its advertising strategy is superb. Remember the advert where the Daddy ordered a Dell PC (or laptop) for his daughter? Superbly done, truly depicting that every product of Dell is made / catered especially for user/customer. So it is no surprise that Jobs considers Dell as a big threat as well!

沒想到曹操對每條法律的利弊看的如此之重。雖然同意陳群恢復死刑的建議，但是他認為政治時機不當，因而作罷。而《三國誌》明確指出曹操之所以同意陳群恢復死刑的建議是出於法律的公正和人民的安危：“所以輔政助教，懲惡息殺也。 ” “所謂名輕而實重者也。名輕則易犯，實重則傷民。 ”

“太祖深善繇、群言”突現曹操內心對法律公正和效率的渴望。“以軍事未罷，顧眾議，故且寢。 ”說明曹操不獨斷專行，且頗洞悉政治大勢。

曹操一生最正確的態度就是他渴望恢復正道，正義和法律上的正義，從他與袁本初的談話就可以看出來：

初，紹與公共起兵，紹問公曰：“若事不輯，則方面何所可據？”公曰：“足下意以為何如？”

紹曰：“吾南據河，北阻燕、代，兼戎狄之觽，南向以爭天下，庶可以濟乎？”公曰：“吾任天下之智力，以道禦之，無所不可。”

這正是說明了曹操在當時由貴族壟斷，卻表面上文質彬彬如偽君子的統治集團裏的異類。這也註定了為什麽北宋人這麽恨他。因為北宋和國民黨一樣是由國家，貴族統治階級所組成的政治團體（南宋更是如此）。曹操破壞了這些黨國貴族的利益，他年輕時就是洛陽北的公安局局長，因打擊權貴，而遭罷官。所以這就是為什麽臺灣的國民黨/和各黨的反動派這麽痛恨曹操，因為他們表面上美名曰：民主。實際上臺灣所謂的民主只是是地方勢力綁樁的黨國權貴。要不然，馬英九也不會把金小刀叫回來安撫臺灣的地方諸侯，陳衰扁更不會口口聲聲地宣示“他老婆貪汙”是為了建立“臺灣國”，結果錢還不是進了自己的口袋裏，馬英九這個“小白兔”（當然了，這也可以看出臺灣那些女性傻B）就更狡猾啦：直接通過所謂“臺灣地區立法院”來開出預算餵養他手下的黨國肥貓，自己倒成了臺灣地區的不粘鍋。不過，這樣才顯得出來祖國未來統一臺灣的重要性和正義性。

若曹操今日看到臺灣之亂象（莫拉克的醜劇，扁家的海角N億），恐怕連他老人家這麽愛笑的人都笑不出來啦。要知道當時曹操可是建立了中國歷史上少見的法制社會，和社會福利系統啊！

現在我們看看《三國誌》對曹公的評價，真是感到曹公名不虛傳，更感到中國知識分子（明代，宋朝，民國）的虛偽，不知道那些罵曹操的家夥此時有何感想：

評曰：漢末，天下大亂，雄豪並起，而袁紹虎摉四州，強盛莫敵。太祖運籌演謀，鞭撻宇內，閴申、商之法術，該韓、白之奇策，官方授材，各因其器，矯情任算，不念舊惡，終能總禦皇機，克成洪業者，惟其明略最優也。抑可謂非常之人，超世之傑矣。

Mancini Roberto A Tale of Two Cities?

The big news at the end of last year is the managerial change at Man City (again?). Roberto Mancini, one of Italy’s finest artists (as a player of course), was presented as Manchester City new gaffer.

The timing of Mark Hughes’ sacking makes little sense apart from the fact that the transfer window opens for Mancini in January. After all, Mark Hughes really did little wrong by bringing Manchester City close to a Champion League spot. Furthermore, City’s position could not faulted considered that their initial objective is to get into top four. Could it be the long run of draws that caused Mark Hughes his job? If it is so then the sacking is indeed a knee jerk reaction.

I am not saying that Mark Hughes is good. All I am trying to argue here is that Mancini is probably not any better in terms of managerial abilities.

As many of you might have spotted: this is clearly a typical birth chart of a sports personnel. With a month branch of Eating God and Wealth, the birth chart falls into the Eating God produces Wealth category. The only reason why his birth chart is slightly better than other birth chart is because of the fact that Resource Chen辰 cannot harm the Eating God in the birth chart due to the combinations and clashes with the birth chart.

The composition should be very easy to deduce from his simple birth chart: The useful God is Eating God 亥 Hai and 壬Ren, the Auxiliary God is Wealth 甲 Jia and 乙Yi. The Unfavourable God is Officer 午, the Favourable God depends. When the resource is not protecting Officer, the Resource is the Favourable God as the Resource improves the Category.

It is no wonder that Mancini playing career peaks during the two Wealth Pillars 寅and 卯( remember I mentioned before that Auxiliary God is the most important part of the Bazi Birth chart). This is because寅and 卯 combined with 亥Hai to form wood instead of combining with 午 Wu to produce Unfavourable God Officer 午 (please read The Combinations and Clash of Ten Gods).

Here you can take Unfavourable God Officer 午 as illness, anything to reduce the illness is considered as medicine. Only by eliminating the illness in the birth chart, you can produce success in your life (有病方为贵，无伤不是奇，格中若去病，财禄喜相随).

Clearly, the 卯 Mao Luck Pillar is a peak for Mancini as the卯 Mao did not touch午 Wu to produce Unfavourable God Officer 午. 2010will be the year of 庚寅, 寅 Yin will combined with午 Wu to produce Unfavourable God Officer 午, thus making it a less productive year for Mancini. I really wonder why Man City appoints him in 2010. The correct decision should be keeping Hughes at the City until 2010, then appoint Mancini in 2011. Well, I suppose the Arabs are too rich now, or are they?

Unfortunately, Mancini may not even hit the basic target of 4^th spot in 2010, I really wonder why?!

Did Bolton make the right decision? Owen Coyle Horoscope Natal Chart

As I flipped through the papers (in UK) since New Year 2010, I could not help but spare my thoughts on the poor English Premiership fans. It finally dawned on them that the credit crunch has fallen on their beloved clubs (or debt-ridden clubs?).

Before we begin to scrutinize the debt-ridden clubs at the top end of the table, I think it is important for us to understand/ read the future of the clubs at the other end. This is because the credit crunch has indeed added uncertainty into the English Premiership League (EPL) title race, making predictions more difficult (especially when I had not seen the birth certificate of Ferguson and Ancelotti) at the top.

However, all hopes are not lost as the relegation dogfight for EPL 2010 provides us with some interesting observations and predications. I have been studying each of the EPL Bazi Chart very carefully for sometime. It is really disappointing when the club decide to sack Holt and Megson as these increase the difficulty of my predictions in 2010. Thankfully, Bolton replaces Megson with Owen Coyle whom I had previous studied on while he was at Burnley.

Owen Coyle was probably born in the morning of 14 July 1966 in Scotland. Given the benefits of doubts and his previous success, I think the best birth chart possible is around 7:00am to 9:00am.

From the month branch 未Wei from the birth chart, all three hidden stems are shown in the heaven stems: 乙 Yi (wood) rob wealth, 戊 Wu (earth) indirect wealth and 丙 Bing (fire) as the Eating God. With so many earth elements in the birth chart clearly the Useful God is Wealth, and the Auxiliary God is Eating God. Now we know it belongs to the Wealth category but what is its Favourable God. In order to determine the Favourable God, we need to identify the illness of the chart. Clearly, the Rob Wealth is robbing the wealth未Wei, thus the Favourable God must be Seven killings/ Officer to eliminate the Rob Wealth, and the Unfavourable God is Rob Wealth.

During the己亥 Pillar, the positive effect is that wealth is prominent. When the Auxiliary God 丁Ding is emerged in 2007, he became the manager of Burnley, and in 2009, won promotion to the EPL.  However, 2009 is the year of OX 丑 Chou also clashed with the month branch未Wei, signalling the move of workplace (as the month branch also represents home).

The next question is: did Bolton made the right decision?  Well, probably not. When Coyle left Burnley, Burnley is two points off the relegation zone while Bolton is still in the relegation zone. Not much of an improvement of managerial credential at all. 2010 will be the year 庚寅; the Seven Killings 庚 combined with the Unfavourable God乙 Yi (wood) rob wealth. This appears to be a good thing. However the丙 Bing (fire) will limit/reduce the positive effect of庚, making life difficult for Coyle next year. Hence we can conclude that Bolton is still not out of the woods yet. Whether Bolton can be safe depends on the Bazi birth chart of other managers.

Ben Bernanke ， Astrology， Horoscope，FED, USA, financial crisis, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Part 2

Very often, we are left wondering what else Ben Bernake has done apart from throwing money to feed the banking d**s when we are watching his appearances on the US congress hearings on FED and the economy.

I had made the same conclusion about Ben Bernanke’s performance as Mt Warren Edward Buffett: Mr Bernanke had performed well under those horrible circumstances during the peak of the financial crisis 2008. Most of you might be wondering what Bernanke has done to deserve some praises from insiders like me (I am not working in Wall Street or London but I do have inside information how they work those things out).

We all know that Mr Bernanke did whatever he could after the financial meltdown begins in 2008 and together with other top US officials they bailed out lots of financial institutions deemed too big to fail. Such actions will definitely outrage the entire world (especially the lovely US citizens who for the majority of them hadn’t got a clue to how important and interconnected are the financial instruments to our daily lives).

He even went on further to extend the regulatory authority to the “Shadow banking system “ by introducing a Alphabetical soup of financial papers, aimed to tackle the problem directly. However, after months of hard work during the later part of 2008, one issue remains: how to stabilize the US dollar and continue its authority as the world’s reserve currency?

From past experience, the dollar position as the world’s only reserve currency was very much untouched for a long time. Even if a financial downturn happened once a while, the very facts that US has the one of the best legal systems in the world and the largest economy in the world made it “the best of the rotten apples “ ( e.g. US economy is bad but the rest of the world is even worse so if you don’t use US dollar as reserve currency, which other one can replace it?). Therefore, when the US economy falls into recession usually the rest of the world will suffer.

However, the meltdown on the Wall Street caused the FED to re-think about such assumptions because this crisis fundamentally damages the credibility and the confidence of the US dollar and thus the US economy.

Think about it guys: if you are the chairman of FED and the world has lost confidence in the US economy. You are immediately faced with the possibility that the world market might sell US Dollar to buy gold and other commodity to advert the risk of inflation and the devaluing of the US Dollar. What are you going to do in time of a Dollar crisis?

Out of thought, eh? Well, if Mr Bernanke were to run out of his tricks in 2008, then US economy probably had collapsed. This is actually what happens: sometime during the end of 2008, Goldman Sachs and HSBC mysteriously began buying gold on the market. Rumours soon started to circulate around the world that the gold price is going to skyrocket soon, come on guys buy gold! True enough the price of gold shot up and the financial institutions made huge profit in the gold trading at that time.  Now, you might wonder: what has this got to do with the position of US Dollar in 2008?

Well, 2008 was the most uncertain period for the US Dollar in decades. Stabilizing the Dollar and continuing its position as the world’s reserve currency are paramount. Actions taken by Goldman Sachs and HSBC helped that course. You may wonder: how? Traditionally, isn’t it true that when the gold prices rise, the US Dollar devalues? Well, that is true “usually”. Think about it guys: how do you buy gold on the market? Well, easy you change your home currency to US Dollar … and then buy gold. Wait a minute, did we just mention that: you change your home currency to US Dollar?

Yes, we did. And that is exactly why when the price of gold was rising, the US dollar appreciate as well, and the rest of the world’s (free-trade) currencies devalued. Smart, isn’t it. This is due to the Seven Killings (Jia 甲) taking effect in his birth chart. The other conundrum that many of you might ask is: since the FED had printed so much money where is the inflation?

Well, there are actually two parts to that question, but I am going to give one of the answers: Bernanke figured a smart way round the problem. Here is how you do it: the Treasury used the National Bond to buy the illiquid assets, so that the Fed can keep the cash (because the private firms have to buy the National Bonds from the Fed first) and the private firms cleared their balance sheet” Perfect, isn’t . This is a master plan probably brought about by Bernanke. The lessons we learnt from the Japanese decade-long recession is that the negative/ugly balance sheet of the private firms was what eventually caused the Japanese downfall. Thus, if the US government can use default-free bonds to clear the damaged balance sheet of the private firms, then that risk is minimized.

At the same time, there are two other obvious advantages:

Net M2 is reduced substantially compared to any other method which means that the chance of hyper-inflation is minimized. Thus, the position of the USD Dollar is also secured.

The cash flow held by the FED can be used to give to those who are really in need of those cash. Smart, isn’t it? That’s why Ben Bernanke is the Chairman of FED and we are sitting in front of our computers reading this stupid post!
